Gossip

There he is, don't look,
Don't let him see you stare
His poor parents what they must
Think. Such a good lad he was
Back then. Curly haired little boy,
Full of laughter, full of beans,
Not in a bad way by any means.

He dated my Sarah in high school,
So handsome, so well mannered,
Still is by all accounts, but
Who would have thought back then
what we now know. There but by
The Grace of God, could we all go.

This is simply delightful and spot on for the prompt. Thanks for your visit. Glad you enjoyed Madeleine Peyroux. I'm a recent convert!

Yeah, this is a very good use of the prompt, the whisperings, the gossip and the scandal!

I came over to leave a comment last night but blogger was playing up and wouldn't let me sign in. Anyway..

Talking about football (soccer) there are two great teams in Manchester, City and City reserves! Lol, Andy
